En 2015, les compositeurs Vũ Nhật Tân, Trần Kim Ngọc, le violoniste Phạm Trường Sơn et le chef d’orchestre Jeff von der Schmidt créent le projet « Hanoi New Music Ensemble » (HNME). Le HNME est destiné à faire connaître au public vietnamien une musique largement méconnue. En jouant le répertoire de la musique contemporaine vietnamienne et internationale, le HNME a contribué à bousculer les habitudes en propulsant les auditeurs dans l’inconnu. Venez à L’Espace à la rencontre de la pointe de la musique contemporaine. Au menu, des morceaux exceptionnels du répertoire français et vietnamiens … et pour beaucoup une rencontre avec l’inouï…
Hanoi New Music Ensemble (HNME) was founded in 2015 on the initiative of the composers Vu Nhat Tan and Tran Kim Ngoc, Pham Truong Son violinist and conductor Jeff Von Der Smith. HNME is a new music group founded with the goal of bringing Vietnamese contemporary music and the contemporary music from all around the world to Vietnam, and became an ambassador of contemporary music in Vietnam in the international arena. Through the introduction of contemporary musical works by Vietnamese and international composers, HNME hope to make an important contribution that change the negative habits of the public audiences in Vietnam.

Hanoi New Music Ensemble (HNME) được thành lập năm 2015 theo sáng kiến của nhà soạn nhạc Vũ Nhật Tân, Trần Kim Ngọc, nghệ sĩ violon Phạm Trường Sơn và nhạc trưởng Jeff Von Der Smith. HNME là một nhóm nhạc mới thành lập với mục tiêu đưa âm nhạc đương đại Việt Nam và thế giới đến với công chúng Việt Nam, đồng thời trở thành một đại sứ của âm nhạc đương đại Việt Nam trên trường quốc tế. Thông qua việc giới thiệu các tác phẩm âm nhạc đương đại Việt Nam và quốc tế, HNME góp phần quan trọng làm thay đổi thói quen thẩm âm của công chúng Việt Nam.
